Description
The Kerrville Folk Festival has always been a place where songs are passed down as naturally as stories around a campfire. Our Family Concerts celebrate that tradition with music and storytelling designed for kids, parents, grandparents, and anyone who still knows how to sing loud and laugh easily.
Held every Saturday and Sunday morning from 10:00–11:00am at the Threadgill Memorial Theater, these concerts feature performers who know how to meet young audiences where they are. Expect lively sing-alongs, interactive moments, movement, call-and-response songs, and plenty of chances for kids to be part of the show rather than just watching from their seats.
Whether it’s a first festival experience or a long-standing family tradition, Family Concerts offer a gentle, joyful way to start the day together. Blankets, wiggles, curiosity, and enthusiastic participation are all welcome.
