Description

This gathering offers a gentle, welcoming space for reflection, connection, and shared healing through music and words.

Hosted by songwriter, poet, and therapist Richard Lappin, Loss, Healing, and the Power of Song is an extended song circle centered on how we live with loss and how creative expression can help carry us through grief. Together, participants are invited to share the experiences that brought them to the circle and to offer a song, poem, or spoken word piece, original or not, that has supported their healing journey.

Loss may be recent or long past. Participation may take the form of sharing, listening, or simply being present. All are welcome exactly where they are. This is a space held with care, respect, and compassion, shaped by the understanding that music and story often say what words alone cannot.

Whether you choose to sing, speak, or sit quietly among others who understand, this circle honors the ways community and song can help us remember, grieve, and heal together.
